Can I throw away the quest items i have from pre-searing away, Now that i am in Post-Searing

yes. Theres a "trash can" object in your inventory on the same row as your bags, it would be the last icon. Simply drag to that trash can if your in a town, or if your in an explorable area outside of town you can simply drag and drop outside of your inventory to drop it on the ground.
